Wine is culture

«Il vino è cultura, represents in its tastes the reflections of the man that produces it, but also the economy, in an ethical sense, from traditions, from politics, from the land meant as “humus” of the Country of origin» said the director on Mondovino, the French-American Jonathan Nossiter, to the audience that had chosen to see, without distractions, the 158 minutes of his metaphoric documentary. Nossiter said: «Mine is a “militant” documentary, said Hubert De Montille, one of the oldest French vine growers, present in the movie yesterday next to the director: «To see Mondovino signifies making a comparison with the Old Continent of Europe and the United States of America of the wine technology».
